Terms and Conditions

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter a contract. You must provide accurate account information and keep access to your email and devices secure. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account.

InterviewShadow helps you prepare career material, rehearse interview answers, and receive compact talking points grounded in information you provide. AI output can be incomplete or wrong. You must review it and remain responsible for every statement you make or submit.

Features, supported devices, providers, and availability may change as the service improves. We may pause a feature for maintenance, security, legal, or reliability reasons.

Use InterviewShadow only where the interview, assessment, employer, school, and meeting platform allow it. You may not use the service to impersonate another person, fabricate experience, obtain prohibited assistance, evade monitoring, compromise a system, harass someone, or violate law or a third party's rights.

The desktop companion does not join a meeting or answer on your behalf. You remain the participant and must make your own decision about whether assistance is appropriate.

You keep ownership of resumes, notes, job descriptions, answers, and other material you provide. You give us a limited permission to host, process, transform, and transmit that material only as needed to operate, secure, and improve the requested service. Do not upload material you lack the right to use.

Our handling of personal information is described in the Privacy Policy.

• Prices, currency, taxes, included time, and expiry are shown before payment.
• Current passes and time packs are one-time purchases and do not auto-renew.
• Promotional or free time may have separate limits and may not be sold or transferred.
• Razorpay processes payment credentials; a purchase is complete only after verification.
• Unused access expires on the date shown for the applicable offer or balance.

InterviewShadow, its software, design, branding, and service-generated materials are owned by us or our licensors. These terms give you a personal, limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the service. They do not transfer ownership or permit copying, reselling, reverse engineering, or creating a competing service from protected parts of the product.

You may stop using the service or request account deletion. We may restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary to address fraud, abuse, security, non-payment, prohibited use, or legal requirements. Where practical, we will explain the reason and provide a way to contact support.

The service is provided on an “as available” basis. We do not guarantee an interview outcome, employment offer, uninterrupted availability, or that AI output will be accurate or suitable for every situation. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of opportunity, or decisions made from AI output. Our aggregate liability relating to a paid service will not exceed the amount you paid for the affected purchase during the six months before the event giving rise to the claim.

We may update these terms to reflect product, provider, or legal changes. Material changes will be posted with a revised date and additional notice where appropriate. These terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes are subject to the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka, except where consumer law requires otherwise.
